On Monday, November 15, 2010 Karen Whitehead of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 45 years. Karen will be sadly missed by her Companion Douglas Reid of Edmonton, AB; children: Steven Muskego (Bonnie) of Sturgeon Lake, AB, Tara Muskego (Leyton) of Edmonton, AB, Chailene (Derek) Balciunas of Cold Lake, AB Ben Whitehead of Sturgeon Lake, AB; grandchildren: Anna Halfe of Edmonton, AB, Brooke Balciunas of Cold Lake, AB , Kaiden Balciunas of Cold Lake, AB, Hailey Martial-Halfe of Edmonton, AB; mother: Rosie Muskego of Cold Lake, AB; siblings: Helen, Gordon, Leonard, Raymond, Margaret, Arthur, Larry, Sandra, Richard, Loretta, Charlene, Conrad, Jerry, Gail; honourary mom: Scholastique Scanie & Family. Karen was predeceased by father; Cyril Muskego; brothers: Randy, Darrel & Adelard; sister: Gloria McFeeters. A wake was held on Wednesday & Thursday, November 17 & 18, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre, Cold Lake First Nations, Alberta. A funeral mass was held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Raphael's Parish Cold Lake First Nations, Alberta. With Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard Muskego, George Scanie, Steven Muskego, Ben Whitehead, Jonathan Martial, Scott Muskego.
