On Saturday, September 24, 2016 Gabriel John of Kehewin passed away at the age of 77 years. Gabe will be remembered by his children; Cynthia (Glen) YoungChief of Kehewin, Beverly (Emil) Bystrom of Marwayne, Pauline John of Calgary, Timmy (Althena) John of Kehewin, Curtis John of Kehewin, Donovan John of Kehewin, Deborah John (Randy) of Kehewin and Miranda John (Brednor) of Onion Lake, 29 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, his siblings Walter John of Kehewin, Charlie (Lillian) John of Kehewin, Brenda Joly of Kehewin, adopted siblings, Andrew Nanooch of Edmonton, and Vina Muskego of Onion Lake, sisters in law; Julia Kehewin of Kehewin and Joyce Cardinal. Gabe was predeceased by his wife: Dorothy John, son: Grant John, daughter: Doreen John, grandchildren: Francine Bystrom and Cole John, parents: Mary and Jimmy John, siblings: Rachelle John, MaryAnn Desjarlais, Yvonne John, Nancy John, George Kehewin, Herman Kehewin, Jerome John and Francis John. Wake Tuesday and Wednesday, September 27 & 28, 2016 at the Kehewin Community Centre. Traditional funeral service Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kehewin Community Centre. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta.
