On Monday, September 12, 2016 Mrs. Alma Jean Desjarlais of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away at the age of 73 years. Alma will be lovingly remembered by her children; Rose Blyan, Lori Desjarlais, Tim (Rena) Desjarlais, Irene (Zane) Zimmer, Christine Desjarlais and Stacy (Tammy) Desjarlais, grandchildren; Delaney, Joshua, Janae, John, Cody, Jaime, Janeen, Sherylanne, Tenyta, Rhyden, Carla, Emma, Nick, Navonia, Legion, Austin, Mikayla and Memphis, 9 great grandchildren and her siblings; Ambrose (Susan) Lepine, Robert (Kathy) Lepine and Maureen (Gilbert) Jacknife. Alma was predeceased by her husband: James Desjarlais, great grandchildren: Hannah Faith, and Baby Zimmer, parents: Clara and Ben Lepine, siblings: Agnes, Dolly, Faith and Leonard, Son in Law: Peter.
Wake, Wednesday and Thursday, September 14 &15, 2016 and the Elizabeth Settlement Hall. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, September 16, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish, Elizabeth Métis Settlement. Interment at the Elizabeth Métis Settlement Community Cemetery.
