SCANIE, Delores
On Thursday, November 7, 2013 Delores Elizabeth Ann Scanie of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 47 years. Delores will forever be remembered by her daughters; Lesley, Lynnette, Loreena and Lacey Scanie, grandchildren; Whyette, Wakisha and Wade, her brother Delmar Scanie and her sister Diane Scanie. Delores was predeceased by her common law husband; Arthur Janvier, her daughter; Heather, her parents; Norman and Madeline Scanie and brother; Darrel Scanie. A prayer vigil was held on Sunday and Monday, November 10 and 11, 2013 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations with Father Andrew Schoenberger as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
