On Monday, May 9, 2016 Mr. John George Kolody passed away at the age of 80 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Marie Kolody, his children; Mitchell (Linda) Kolody, Dianne (Marc) Bureau, Morris (Shirley) Kolody, Donna Dobni, Edward Kolody, Kristine (Michael) Martynuik, Wayne (Ledale) Kolody and Patricia (Brian) Eberts, 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and his sister; Helen Slipchuk. John was predeceased by his parents John and Pauline Kolody, sister; Anne Slipchuk, brother; Willaim Kolody, brother in law; Alex Slipchuk, son in law Wayne Dobni, great granddaughter; Angel Bureau.
Visitation Friday, May 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel. Funeral service Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bonnyville Baptist Church. Interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery on the Beaver River Hill. Memorial tributes in memory of John may be made to the Bonnyville Health Foundation, postal bag 1008, Bonnyville, AB T9N 2J7.
