It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing Malcolm “Shorty” Robert Cardinal of Edmonton formerly of Elizabeth Settlement. Shorty is survived by his sons Tyrell Scanie and Robert Cardinal, his mother Lydia Cardinal, his brothers and sisters; Kevin Cardinal, Audrey (Randy) Anderson, Darcy Cardinal and Tina Cardinal as well as numerous relatives and friends. Shorty was predeceased by his father Willard, brother Kelvin, sister Jacqueline and his god parents; Annie and John Tourangeau.
The wake at Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth Métis Settlement with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as the Celebrant. Interment in Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery.
