Peacefully, on Thursday, October 1, 2015 Mrs. Olga Horiachka passed away at the age of 91 years. She will forever be remembered by her children; Johnny Horiachka, Ray (Pemberly) Horiachka, Patrick (Val) Horiachka, Linda (Ken) Pallister and Nettie (Jack) Ruiter, 12, grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and her daughter in law: Sandy Purves, sister in law Christine Urchyshyn. Olga was predeceased by her husband: William Horiachka, son: David Horiachka, grandson: Allen Horiachka, granddaughter: Ricki-Lee Horiachka, daughter in law: Mariette Horiachka, step grandson: Peter Gisle, brother: Peter Urchyshyn, sisters: Mary, Annie, Pauline, Nancy and Molly. A visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 7:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the RCMP Centennial Hall, Glendon with Father Peter Haugen celebrating. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Glendon. Pallbearers were Johnny Horiachka, Raymond Horiachka, Patrick Horiachka, William Horiachka, Ken Pallister and Jack Ruiter.
