Obituary of Rene David Grandbois

GRANDBOIS, Rene On October 18, 2013 Mr. Rene David Grandbois of Cold Lake First Nations passed away in Grande Prairie at the age of 44 years. Rene will be remembered by his father; Felix Grandbois of Cold Lake First Nations, siblings; Raymond Grandbois of Cold Lake First Nations and Rose (Albert) Grandbois of Cold Lake First Nations, nieces and nephews; Vanessa, Veronica, Vernon, Valin, Raymond Jr. Albert Jr., Lorelei and Kyle, his great nieces and nephews; Felicia, Jakob, Adrianna, Bryce, Zacharia and Lavanna, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Rene was predeceased by his mother; Marie Cecile Grandbois (1969), brothers; Roderick (1964), Ronald (1990) and Richard (2004), maternal grandparents; William (1976) Maggie (1968) Minoose, paternal grandparents; Edward and Justine Grandbois (1995) and his niece; Raelene (1993). A Wake was held on Monday and Tuesday, October 21 and 22, 2013 Friday, at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
