On Friday, July 31, 2015 Mrs. Victoria Piche of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 89 years. Victoria will be lovingly remembered by her children; Mary Francois, Lena McCarthy (Jim), Betty Desjardin, Verna Daly (Terry), Henry Piche, Karen Piche (Ivan), Margaret Piche, Brenda Piche (Lyle), Lyle Piche, Horace Piche and Tammy Piche, her brother; Pat Janvier and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Victoria was predeceased by her husband: Solomon Piche, children: John, Betty and Malcolm, grandchildren: Krista, Ellrey and Michelle, parents: Margaret and Joseph Janvier, brothers: Jim Janvier, Lazar Janvier, Pete Janvier , Leo Charland and Dolphus Janvier, sisters: Bella Desjarlais, Monique Amable and Clara Janvier.
A wake was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 4 and 5, 2015 at the English Bay Centre, Cold Lake First Nations 149b. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, August 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations 149 with Father Andrew Schoenberger as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery
