Obituary of MaryAnne Berland

On Tuesday, July 28, 2015 Mrs. MaryAnne Berland of Cold Lake passed away in Edmonton at the age of 83 years. MaryAnne will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Paul (Gladys), Gordon (Lynda), Hector (Cheyenne) and Harold (Lena), daughters; Linda (Daryl) , Dorothy (Jason), Elaine (Stuart), Kathy, Bernice, Roxanne (Ben), Charmaine (Kyle) and Chantel (Leon) and Jackie, brothers; ommy (Lorraine) Piche and John (Katie) Piche, 31 grandchildren, 56 great children and 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces , nephews, relatives and friends. MaryAnne was predeceased by her husband Alphonse Berland, daughter; Rose Berland (Grandbois), parents; Charlotte and Alexie Ennow, brothers; Ernest Ennow, Marcel Piche and Leonard Piche, sisters; Sarah Loth, Genevieve Jacko and Wilhemina Grandbois, granddaughter; Melanie Berland and great grandson; Germaine Berland. Pallbearers were Shanda Desjarlais, Cherine Butlin, Chantel Berland, Gloria Crazyboy, Tracy Berland and Vanessa Berland. A wake was held on Thursday and Friday, July 30 and 31, 2015 at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Hall. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as the celebrant. Interment followed in the Community Cemetery, Cold Lake First Nations.
