Obituary of Vital Victor Matchatis

On Friday, June 12, 2015 Mr. Vital Victor Matchatis passed away at the age of 95 years. Victor will be remembered by his children; Diane (Reg), Sharon (Wayne), Carol (Joel), Grace (Louis), Maureena (Al), Andrea, Dale and Roger, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A wake was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 16 and 17, 2015 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as the celebrant. Interment followed at Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
