On Sunday, May 31, 2015 Mr. Phillip Marty Jr. of Edmonton formerly of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 48 years. Phillip will be remembered by his siblings; Violet Wells of Elizabeth Settlement, Fernie Marty of Edmonton, Bernice Burd of Edmonton, Richard (Nancy) Marty of Edmonton, Stanley Marty of Cold Lake, Bertha Marty of Elizabeth, Melvin Marty of Edmonton and Linda Marty of Elizabeth. Phillip was predeceased by his parents: Lucy and Phillip Marty and brothers: Henry and Harvey Marty. A wake was held on Sunday, June 7, 2015, Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall, Elizabeth Métis Settlement. A funeral service was held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen officiating. Interment followed at St. Dominic’s Cemetery, Cold Lake, Alberta.
