Mike and I met while I worked at Sonny's Bar. He was a kind man and we became fast friends. I had just turned 18 and there were many guys that I would not call gentleman around the bar. Mike would always sit there and demand respect from them. He was like that big brother every young girl needed. The one who would protect and guide her and to remind her that she didn't deserve to be treated that way.

So sorry for your loss Monique! I worked briefly with Mike at Vallee's when I moved back to Bonnyville as a single mom. Mike was always soft spoken and very kind. May he rest in God's arms for a much deserved rest.

Q: What will you never forget about Michael?
A: He took time out of his buzy schedule to assist our family when my Father was taken from us in a Home Invasion. He called to let us know he was keeping an Eye on My father’s Home while we were away. I just want to say lord he is one of your angels now . Amen

We are extremely sad to hear of Mike’s passing.
Have fond memories of him when taking ceramic classes taught by his mom, Elsie….. Mike was always so helpful packing boxes of our treasures from the basement classroom out to our cars. Just a super young adult that his mom was so proud of!!
Taken too soon.

What can i say about my best bud mike. I first met mike in high school all those many years ago. He always had a joke or even a cheerful greeting to cheer me up. Even after high school when id bump into mike on the street he always was cheerful.
Later on when i heard he found his true love of his life (monique). I was happy for them both. You could see they were meant to be.
That day when mike told me about his cancer, my heart sank. How could someone so strong and so courageous get cancer? One thing i gotta say mike fought back big time. That darn cancer didn't no who it was picking on.
Mike I'll miss you bud, I will never say good-bye. Till we meet again bud.
