November 16, 1950 ~ September 25, 2024

It is with profound sadness that the family of Dwain Johnson of Ardmore, Alberta regretfully announces his passing on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the age of 73 years.

Dwain will be forever loved and cherished by his wife of 35 years: Grace Johnson; son: Jeremy (Brittany) Chyz; 3 step-children: Craig (Mariann) Pengelly, Florie Pengelly (Ward), Ernie Pengelly; 10 grandchildren: Annesley, Sabastain, Anderson, Ashby, Chelsey (Chris), Shelby (Marcel), Shae, Jace, Aiden, Adam; 2 great grandchildren: Gracyn and Mark; 2 brothers: Glen (Fay) Johnson, Allan (Gloria) Johnson; 4 sisters: Karen Blanchard, Lynne (Lloyd) Skarsen, Joanne Wierzba, Lorna Steinke (Ken); 2 sisters-in-law: Judy (Ernie) Shmyr, Diana (Ron) Hodinsky; brother-in-law: William “Bill” (Brenda) Hokiro; best friend: Elden Skarsen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dwain was predeceased by his parents: Harvey & Elsie Johnson; mother & father-in-law: William “Bill” & Florence Hokiro; furry friend: Honey.

Service of Remembrance, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:30 a.m., Ardmore Community Hall, Ardmore, Alberta. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
