Obituary of Kevin Ronald Metchewais

On Friday, July 16, 2010 Kevin Ronald Metchewais of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 47 years. Kevin is survived by his daughter Breanne Martin of Cold Lake, maternal grandmother Angelic Janvier of Cold Lake, sisters; Grace Metchewais of Bonnyville, Stacey Armstrong of Red Deer, nieces and nephew Holly, Tyonne and Chet, aunts and uncles; Bernadette, Alice, Christine, Dorothy, Margaret, Freida, Leslie and Dale as well as numerous relatives and friends. Kevin was predeceased by his parents Josephine and James Metchewais, maternal grandfather Hilaire Janiver and paternal grandparents; Alex and Teresa Metechewais. A prayer vigil was held on Thursday and Friday, July 22 and 23, 2010 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Parish with Father Rene Realuyo as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery
