Obituary of Edouard Joseph Lapointe

On Saturday, May 16, 2015 Mr. Edouard Joseph Lapointe of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 75 years. Edouard will be remembered by his sisters; Sister Simone Lapointe of Edmonton, Jeanne Wierzbicki of Bonnyville, Martha Pederson of Boyle and Marie (Derwyn) Wilson of Nipawin, SK, his brothers; Honore (Kathleen) Lapointe of Egremont, Henri (Diane) Lapointe of Bonnyville, Robert (Noëlla) Lapointe of Cold Lake, Rolland (Mary Lou) Lapointe of Bonnyville, Clement Lapointe of Olds and Freddy (Gaynor) Lapointe of Red Deer, sisters-in-law; Pearl Lapointe and Edna Lapointe, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Edouard was predeceased by five brothers; Eugene, Real, Gustave, Emile and Albert, two brothers-in-law; Joe Wierzbicki and Erling Pederson and three nephews; Willie, Lucien and Ernest. A visitation was held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 7 to 9:00 p.m. p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville with Father Rene Realuyo as the celebrant and Samantha Karasiuk and Nicole Gervais reading. Pallbearers were Jessica Karasiuk, Gidgette Tayor , Louise Wagner, Yvette Lapointe, Gail Tremblay and Chianna Pedersen. Interment followed at Holy Family Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta.
