It is with profound sadness that the family of Alice Camillia Kahanyshyn announces her peaceful passing with her daughter by her side at the age of 87 years.

Alice will be forever remembered and loved dearly by her daughters: Sherry (Wade) Shutter, Sandra Kahanyshyn (Lori White), Stacy Kahanyshyn (Cameron Vandergaag); grandchildren: Seth, Paige, Camille Shutter, Scott (Brittany) Hallwachs; great granddaughter: Randi Hallwachs; siblings: Andrew (MaryAnne) Leroux, Isabelle (Dixie) John; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Alice was predeceased by her husband: Adolph Kahanyshyn (Aug 17, 2007); infant son: Joseph Kahanyshyn (Sept 27, 1963); son-in-law: Troy Hallwachs (Dec 24, 1998) parents: Genevieve & Joseph Leroux; siblings: Ivan, Leo, Louis, Rene, Gilles, Georgette, Frank, Rita.

Funeral service, Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta. Final resting place, All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Dupre, Alberta.
