On Friday, March 15, 2024 Melvin Martineau passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55 years.


Melvin is lovingly survived by his wife: Valerie Martial; children: Melanie (Randi) Swan, Brandy Martineau (Scott), Aisha Martineau (Harley), Riley Jacknife, Jeremy Janvier (Keisha), Morgan Janvier, Leon Martial, Hailey Halfe-Martial (Thomas), Darnell Martial, Ryen Cardinal-Martial, Keaton Martial; numerous grandchildren; siblings: Jennine (Dawn) Martineau, Patricia (Colin) Anderson, Genevieve (Joe) Martineau; as well as numerous other relatives & friends.


Melvin was predeceased by his son: Pierce Martineau; daughter: Kristina Janvier; parents: Susan & Lyle Martineau; siblings: Conrad Martineau, Leanne Martineau.


Wake, Thursday, March 21, 2024, Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre, Cold Lake First Nations.


Funeral Mass, Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre with cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.
