On Friday, April 17, 2015 Mrs. Nora Eileen Matchatis of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 93 years. Nora will be lovingly remembered by her children; Joan McVan of Ben Lomond, CA, Joyce (Maynard) Metchewais of CLFN, Shirley Cardinal of CLFN, Marlene Matchatis of CLFN, Cecilia Machatis (George) of CLFN, Bridget Machatis of CLFN, Kenneth Matchatis of CLFN, Valerie Wood of Saddle Lake, Wayne Matchatis of CLFN, Connie (Dennis) Santos of Cranbrook, BC and Noella Amable of Calgary, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Nora also leaves her brother; Charles Harris of Vilna and her sister Bridget Volden of Helena, MT. Nora was predeceased by her husband Ben Matchatis, her sons; Dale and Conrad “Billy” Matchatis, granddaughter Sheila Piche, grandson Kye Matchatis, parents; Josette and Thomas Harris and siblings; James Harris and Rose Foote.
