JOHN, Howard Joseph

December 10, 1958 – March 14, 2024

A devoted husband, father, mosom, brother and dear friend Howard Joseph John of Kehewin Cree Nation passed unexpectedly in Edmonton, Alberta on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the age of 65 years.

Howard is lovingly survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah John; children: Serena John, Sadie-Rose Lindsey; grandchildren: Shantae Gadwa, Randal John, Sebastian Watchmaker, Jaxx John; siblings: Irvin (Marinda) Kehewin, Richard John, Amelia John, Vera Erasmus, and sister-in-law: Yvonne John; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Howard was predeceased by his grandson: Sean John; parents: William and Maude Kehewin; siblings: Josephine, William, Eric, Percy, Barb, and Victor.

Wake, Tuesday March 19, 2024, Kehewin Community Centre, Kehewin Cree Nation. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Kehewin Community Centre, Kehewin Cree Nation with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
