Ken and family. We are sad with you in your heart-breaking news. A life so well lived and taken too soon. Fond memories will always prevail, for where there is deep love, there is deep grief. Let his laughter sing in your hearts and bring a smile to you.....and let his memory live in you. With love and support, the staff and Board of Meota Gas Co-operative.

We found some pictures of Raymond from happy occasions: celebrating marrying his love, and one of many family picnics.

“How sad we are now, but how lucky we were.
And how fortunate we are still to have all the stories and experiences and memories we shared.
Let us find peace in the past to carry our hearts forward.”
- We always enjoyed Raymond’s wit at all the family gatherings. With deep sympathy from all the Culshaws - Doreen, Darcy, Angela, Leanne, Henry

**An Ode to Raymond Michael Baron**
Born in the quiet town of Cereal, under Alberta's open sky,
Raymond Michael Baron, a spirit free, with dreams that soared high.
From the fields of his youth to the bustling streets of Calgary,
He lived with vigor, a good son, a brother, a friend to many.
With a smile as wide as the prairies, and a heart full of grace,
He walked his path with laughter, leaving memories we can't replace.
A dedicated city servant, his work echoed through the town,
In every street, every corner, his legacy is found.
Retiring to the serene embrace of Bonnyville's gentle land,
He found peace with his love, Dawn, always hand in hand.
A life well-lived, a journey far, from Cereal to city lights,
Raymond's story, a testament to his unwavering, spirited fights.
A keen eye for vehicles, a passion so clear,
His knowledge and interest, in every conversation, you'd hear.
A tribute to his father, Michael Baron, who passed in '92,
His father's memory continues to renew.
Though he left the city's embrace for a quieter retreat,
Part of him remains in Calgary, in every heart, every street.
For Raymond Michael Baron, a man of devotion to his garden,
Leaves behind a trail of care as deep as the pride taken.
Bertha Alice Baron-Blanchard, a mother strong and kind,
Grieves her oldest son, with memories sweet entwined.
His lifelong friends, a testament to the man he was,
In each shared story, each laugh, his spirit forever does.
Arthur and Kenneth, brothers, with Eileen and Debora by their side,
Reflect on Raymond's journey, with hearts open wide.
Nieces Lisa and Julie, with Troy and Jay, remember him fondly,
A connection that fits regardless of the distance.
Two grandnephews Rylan and Cody and Maisee, a grandniece,
Will hear tales of Raymond, his legacy rife with joy, never to cease.
So, here's to a man who did things his very own way,
Whose laughter echoes in our hearts, as we gather and say:
"You left us, but your journey's not done,
For in each of us, Raymond Michael Baron, your spirited song is sung."
This tribute includes the cherished family connections that made Raymond’s life so full. May it serve as a lasting memory of the love and bonds that he shared with each of you.
Peace my Brother,
Ken

Another day we all dread. Ian you transit to the salient point, that being the family gatherings - a place we all respect and reflect upon. As time marches on those memories represent a heartfelt tug of authentic belonging - family. I wish all best wishes.

Cousin Ray you left way too early.
In younger years we always connected and enjoyed each others company.
At family reunions we always had fun and had great conversations catching up
Always looked forward to those times
