On Tuesday, March 24, 2015 Mr. George Bruce Swan of Lac La Biche passed away at the age of 78 years. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife; Victoria, daughters; Irene (Camille) Lessard, Lorraine Swan and Linda Swan, sons; Raymond (Wanda) Swan, Kenny Swan and Ricky (Sandra) Swan, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings; Moses Swan, Rena Swan, Cecile Swan (Larry), Eddie (Ida) Swan and sister in law; Isabelle Swan. George was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Caroline Swan sisters: Darlene and Lorraine, brothers: Wilfred, Patrick, Gabe and James, nephew: Ricky and niece: Rosalie.
A wake was held on Thursday & Friday, March 26 &27, 2015 at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall with Walter Desjarlais officiating. Interment followed at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were all George’s grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers were Curtis, Christopher, Austin, Randall, Winston, and Jeffery.
