On Thursday, March 19, 2015 Ms. Irene Emilie Gadwa of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 63 years. Irene is survived by her children; Yvette (Wayne) Lessard and Jason (Priscilla) Gadwa, grandchildren; Jayden Lessard, Madelyn Moosepayo, Emma Gadwa and Lakeesha Badger, her mother; Mrs. Theresa Gadwa, siblings; Margaret, Louise (Don), Leona (Gabe), Pauline (William), Judy (Brian), Leo (Valerie), Donna, Ricky (Clara), Ivan (Barb), Peter, Jonas, Lorna and Raymond. Irene was predeceased by her father: Henry Gadwa and brothers: Wayne, John and Marc Gadwa.
A wake was held on Saturday and Sunday, March 21 and 22, 2015 at the Kehewin Community Centre. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kehewin Community Centre with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen officiating. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta.
