It is with profound sadness that the family of John Hansen announces his passing on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the age of 84 years with his brother Bill by his side.
John will be fondly remembered and loved by his brother: Bill Hansen of Ardmore, AB; niece: Rebecca Heartt of Athabasca, AB; nephew: Randy (Laura-Lee) Heartt of Bonnyville, AB; great nephews: Kristian Heartt (Siobhan Scantland) of Leduc, AB, Benjamin Heartt of Elkford, BC as well as many other relatives and friends.
John was predeceased by his parents: Mary Hansen (nee Shyjka) in 1963 & Peter Hansen in 1979; brother: Andrew Hansen in 2003; sisters: Anna Heartt in 2021, Helen Koenig in 2023; brothers-in-law: Charles Koenig in 2017, Paul Heartt in 2020; infant nephew: David Heartt in 1965.
Funeral service, Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta with Pastor Ron Hewitt officiating.
