I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. Helen was a dear friend of mine for many years, since way back in the 1970’s at the Department of Agriculture in Edmonton, Alberta…we always kept in touch, but not enough. I’ll miss her friendship. Deepest sympathy to her family… Gloria J. Hambly

Sincere condolences to Helen’s family and friends. Helen & I shared travel experiences and I have many fond memories of the times we spent together. Our friendship goes back to the 1960’s when we worked in the same office in Bonnyville. We stayed in touch for many years after I married and moved to Fort St. John, BC and she lived in Edmonton and then moved to Red Deer. We had a few great visits in recent years and I last spoke with her about a month ago on her birthday. We will all miss her but the great memories we all have of her will live on forever. RIP my friend.
