On Friday, March 6, 2015 Mr. Alphonse Berland of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 81 years. Alphonse will be lovingly remembered by his wife; MaryAnne, sons; Paul (Gladys), Gordon (Lynda), Hector (Cheyenne) and Harold (Lena), daughters; Linda, Dorothy (Jason), Elaine (Stuart), Kathy, Bernice, Roxanne (Ben), Charmaine (Kyle) and Chantel (Leon), brother; Victor Machatis, 31 grandchildren, 56 great children and 8 great great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Alphonse was predeceased by his daughter; Rose Berland (Grandbois), parents; Boniface and Emily Berland, brothers; Ben Machatis, Henry Machatis, Jerry Janvier and David Berland, sisters; Sophie Minoose and Leonie Charland, Granddaughter; Melanie Berland and great grandson; Germaine Berland. Pallbearers; Jordan Berland, Bradley Berland, Wesley Berland, Martin Desjarlais Nathan Amable, Robert Cree.
