With much love and saddened hearts the family of Glenn Douglas Babcock announce his passing on August 10 following a short battle with cancer. Glenn leaves a huge hole in the hearts of family and friends.  He touched the lives of so many people with his generosity, kindness, listening ear, stories, good nature and advice.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Andrea of 29 years, daughters Charmaine (Lamar) Laurin; Amanda (Joel) French; Stephanie (Ian) Lechelt, stepchildren Keith (Georgina) Paradis, Kurtis (Jackie Desnoyers) Paradis, Leslie (Nikki Johnson) Paradis, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother David (Sandra) Babcock, sister Faye (Peter) Calcagni and many nieces and nephews.  Glenn was predeceased by his son Nathaniel Babcock, parents Ernest and Lila Babcock, brother Ken Babcock, sister in law Ruby Babcock and in laws John and Susan Antoniuk.

Glenn’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the Bonnyville Palliative Care Team and staff at Bonnyville Health Centre who treated Glenn with utmost care, kindness and dignity. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Mission, PO Box 953, Edmonton, AB  T5J 2L8; an organization that Glenn passionately supported.
