Uncle Stan was one of the most opinionated people I have ever met. He loved to argue. But his smile and twinkle in those beautiful blue eyes let you know he was having fun with you. He treated me like the father that I never had and I love him for that. My most recent memory I have of him is just a couple of days before he left us. He was relieved of his pain by medications and was laying peacefully in his bed. Alice came into the room, he opened his eyes and I have never before seen so much love in a man's eyes as I saw in his. He said "Hello Sweetheart". I will never forget the love he showed her and the gentle way he spoke. It took my breath away. Soar happy Uncle and please say hi to Mom (Veronica) for me. Ellie Tremblay
