Obituary of Bernice, Verna

On Monday, February 2, 2015, Mrs. Bernice Verna Amable of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 67 years. Bernice will be forever remembered by her family; husband: Alphonse Amable, her children; Sarah (Merlin) Moccasin, Wayne (Marilyn) Thomas, Ronald (Wanda) Moccasin, Cameron Moccasin, Virginia (Ivan) Moccasin, Celina (Milton) Sunchild, Lena Moccasin, Roxanne (Morley) Campbell, Rodena (Alan) Scanie. Her siblings; Cecile Moccasin, Lloyd Moccasin, Wallace Moccasin, Maryanne John, Ernest Moccasin, Dolly Moccasin, Walter Moccasin, Brian Moccasin, Brenda Moccasin and Madeline Moccasin along with 50 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Bernice was predeceased by 2 baby sons; her parents; Margaret and Louis Moccasin, siblings; Gilbert, Roseanne, Raymond, Eliza and Barbara Moccasin. A wake was held on Thursday and Friday, February 5 and 6, 2015, at Cold Lake First Nations Band Hall. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations with Father Andrew Schoenberger as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery with Gabriel Moccasin, Floyd Morin, Wilson Moccasin, Brook Night, Gerald Morin and Simon Moccasin as pallbearers.
