BLACKMAN, Frank

April 29, 1959-March 28, 2023

On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, Mr. Frank Blackman of Edmonton, Alberta (formerly of Cold Lake First Nations) passed away peacefully at his home in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 63 years.

Frank is survived by his loving family; his children, Craig (Sarah) Gladue,, Frankie Houle, Lori (Chris) Houle, grandchildren; Tyson, Craig Jr., Mikko, Adrianna, Parker; siblings, Joyce (Tony) Mandamin, Bernadette Cardinal, Susan Blackman, Roslyn Weal, Cecile Blackman, Brian Blackman, Sharon (Jack) Procyk, Victoria (Jürgen) Schmidt, Barbara Blackman, Charles Blackman, his good friend; Bud Rogers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Francis (2004) & Maryanne (2019) Blackman; and sister Marlene Reimer in 2019.

Wake: Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre.

 Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 10:30 am, at St Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church with interment at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
