Fay Margaret Palsat

 April 6, 1934 – February 26, 2023

With grateful hearts for a remarkable life well-lived, the family of Fay Palsat announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother on Sunday, February 26, 2023.

Fay is loving survived by her daughters Mary Ann (John) Szydlik, Yvonne (Cliff) Seibel and son Larry Palsat (Ali). Grandchildren: Shane Solowoniuk, Marcy (Russell) Doonanco, Stacy (Mark) Popkie, Brad (Jessica) Szydlik, Jenna (Matt) Moric, Sara (Mattias) Knuttila, Kaylan Palsat; two sisters, Mabel Papirny, Julia Johnson; sisters in law, Deloris Babb, Margaret Babb; son in law, Ed Solowoniuk and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Faye was predeceased by her husband, Brunis in 1985, daughter Linda Solowoniuk 2010, grandson Darrell Solowoniuk 2011, and great great grandchild Ethan 2009. Brothers Norval (Lois), Fred, Albert, Jim (Betty), sisters Viola (Tootsie), Jeannette (Adolph) and brothers in laws, Joe Olzowska , Tom Papirny and Dougie Johnson.

At the time of Fay’s passing she resided at Bonnyville Extendicare.

Funeral Service Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm, Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations made in Faye's name be made to the Alzheimer's society or to Haying in the 30's.
