On Tuesday, January 17, 2023 Henry Desjarlais of Elizabeth Metis Settlement passed away at the age of 83 years. Henry will be forever remembered and loved by his 2 children: Deloris Desjarlais (Greg) of Brisbane, Australia, Kevin Desjarlais (Tina) of Elizabeth Metis Settlement; 8 grandchildren: Lance Soloway of Edmonton, AB, Michael Desjarlais of Edmonton, AB, Brendon Desjarlais of Australia, Sandinita Desjarlais of Edmonton, AB, Riley Desjarlais of Cold Lake, AB, Dallas Desjarlais of Edmonton, AB, Payton Desjarlais of Cold Lake, AB, Alysia Levings of Australia; 12 great grandchildren: Garilyn, Mariana, Macklynn, Kamrynn, Blair, Darby, Beau, Navy, Bella, Lawson, Gabriel, Drake; sister: Judy Desjarlais of Elizabeth Metis Settlement; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Henry was predeceased by his son: Gary Desjarlais, grandson Bryce Desjarlais, parents: James & Louise Mary Desjarlais; 8 brothers: Lawrence, Albert, Joe, George, William, infant brother Tommy, Gilbert, Harvey, Ernest; 7 sisters: Alice, Flora, Annie, Mary, Caroline, Bernice, Helen.

Wake, Saturday January 21 (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville at 4:00 p.m.) & Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Elizabeth Settlement Hall.

Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, January 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth Metis Settlement with interment to follow at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery.
