Obituary of Blanche Alice Wagner nee Dumesnil

July 7, 1939 ~ November 5, 2022

It is with profound sadness that the family of Blanche Alice (Dumesnil) Wagner announces her peaceful passing on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at the age of 83 years.
Her adoring smile, contagious laugh, and boundless generosity will remain cherished memories for our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Blanche was predeceased by her loving husband, Alfred Wagner, of 52 years; her children, Christine Robyn Lambert and Ian Kerry Wagner; her parents, Louis Ignace and Angele Dumesnil; her brothers, Leon, Bernard and Jean-Paul Dumesnil and her sister Gabrielle Morin.

Her remaining children will remember her fondly: Terrance (Sue Rondeau) with children Brittany, Chantel, and Brandon; Terry (Roland) Neumann; Robert (Robin Duval) with
children Jeri-Ann, Kaitlyn, and Jonathan; Doris (Ted) Sawchuk with children Dylan and Cole and grandchild Ian Dutchak. Her surviving siblings include Angelina Couturier, Rita Dumesnil, Denise LaBrecque, Noella (Brosi) Nutting, Madeliene (Emile) Dumont, brother-in-law Emile Morin and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on November 12th, at St. Louis Catholic Church Parish, 5011 49 Ave, Bonnyville, AB. Interment, Holy Family Cemetery, Bonnyville, AB with a luncheon to follow at the Parish Hall. 

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff in the Long-term Care Unit at the Bonnyville Health Centre for their love, care and compassion.
 

Memorial Donations may be made in Blanche Wagner’s name to the Long Term Care Unit for resident comfort fund needs.
