It is with profound sadness and appreciation of her life that the family of Miriam Grace Godziuk announces her unexpected passing on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the age of 22 years.
Miriam will be forever remembered and greatly loved by her parents: Larry Godziuk & Jennifer Lawton-Godziuk; brother: Gregory Godziuk; maternal grandparents: Lorraine & Robert Lawton; aunts & uncles: Jason (Nicole) Lawton, Lawrence (Sonya) Godziuk, Lorraine Godziuk (Bill Wray), Lorna Godziuk, and Colleen Godziuk (Lloyd Meyer); cousins: David, Christopher (Celine), Andrea (Dean), Erin (Ira), Gervaise (Meaghan), Lydia, Owen, Aiden, Tyler, Emerald, and Avery; numerous extended family; church members; Bonnyville football and Lakeland Yellowjackets track & field club members; many circles of friends; and four-legged pal: Ryder.
Miriam was predeceased by her paternal grandparents: Peter & Alice Godziuk; uncles: Baby David Godziuk and Leonard Godziuk.
Fellowship & viewing will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel in Bonnyville, Alberta. Orthodox Funeral Rite will be served at Saturday, October 29, St. Paul Roman Catholic Cathedral (4613 50 Avenue) at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul, Alberta with burial at Slawa, Alberta. Lunch will follow at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Hall in St. Paul (5601 51 street).
