Obituary of Leona Ann Mckay

MCKAY, Leona

January 13, 1982 - September 6, 2022

It is with great sadness, the family announces Leona Mckay of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the age of 40 years.

She was known for her spirit of loving kindness and her sense of humor. She will be missed by many.

Leona is lovingly survived by her children: Michael Mckay and Chase Mckay-Badger; grandchild: Sorin Mckay-Crier; parents: Karen Mckay and Earl Place; siblings: David Mckay and Darryl (Sharon) Mckay.

Leona was predeceased by her partner of 16 years, Calvin Badger.

Wake,  Monday and Tuesday, September 12 & September 13, 2022, at the Kehewin Recreational Centre, Kehewin (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville at 2:00 p.m.)

Funeral Service, Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Kehewin Recreation Centre, Kehewin, with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin.
