On Wednesday, December 17, 2014 Mr. Charles Charland of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 79 years. Charles will be forever remembered by his family; step-son: Kelly Janvier, his siblings; Frank Charland, Rose Martial, Rod (Anne) Charland, Annie Dopson and Irene Charland along with his grandchildren; Sherri, Shayne and Alexis. Charles was predeceased by his parents; Leona and Francis Charland, daughter; Cheryl Martial, granddaughter; Melodie Martial, siblings; Edna Minose,Theresa Minose and Rene Charland.
A wake was held on Sunday December 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community cemetery with Gwen Janvier-Wanuch, Holly Houle, Alexis Vankougnett, Sherri Scanie, Laura Janvier and Francis Janvier as pallbearers.
