Obituary of Barbara Marie John

April 16, 195 – June 28, 2022

On Tuesday, June 28, 2022 Ms. Barbara Marie John of Kehewin passed away in Bonnyville at the age of 67 years. Barb will be forever loved by her daughter; Phaedra (Calvin) Cardinal, grandchildren; Blaine Cardinal and Tayvin Cardinal, siblings; Victor (Yvonne) John, Irvin Kehewin, Howard (Deborah) John, Richard John, Amelia John, and Vera Erasmus, culturally adopted siblings; Rena Cardinal, Arnold Pelly, and Melvin Thunderchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Barb was predeceased by her; parents; William and Maude Kehewin, and siblings; William John, Percy John, Eric John, and Josephine John.

 A wake was held on Saturday and Sunday, July 2 and 3, 2022 at the Kehewin Recreation Centre.

Funeral Service and Mass was held on Monday, July 4, 2022 at the Kehewin Recreation Centre with Father Jhack Diaz celebrating. The interment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin.
