On Sunday, December 14, 2014 Mr. Calvin Hyacinth Courtoreille of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away in Edmonton at the age of 47 years. Calvin will be forever remembered by his mother; Darlene Disterheft of Elizabeth, his siblings; Kelly Cyr (Herman) of Lethbridge, Valerie Brake (Claire) of Cold Lake, Shane Courtoreille (Trish) of Elizabeth and Darcy (Angela) Courtoreille of Elizabeth and numerous, nieces and nephews. Calvin was predeceased by his father; August Collins, maternal grandparents; John and Violet Courtoreille and his paternal grandparents; Alberta and Mary Collins.
A wake was held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations.
