Obituary of Laurent Joseph Wilfred Genereux

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Laurent Genereux announces his sudden passing on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the age of 81 years.

Laurent is lovingly survived by his wife of 58 years, Sofie Genereux; children: Michelle (Kelly) Genereux, Louis (Jody) Genereux, Monique Clancy, Susanne Richard-Wilson; grandchildren: Philip Lessard, Adam Lessard, Rhianne Lessard, Michael Clancy, Gabrielle Genereux, Nicholas Richard, Ethan Richard; brother: Maurice Genereux; sister-in-law: Adreinne Genereux.

Laurent was predeceased by his parents: Romeo & Blanche Genereux; brothers: Joseph (infant), Rudolph "Rudy Genereux.

Visitation, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta.

Funeral Mass, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta. Inurnment to take place at a later date at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta.
