On Monday, May 23, 2022 Barry Horse "Chakapew" of Frog Lake, Alberta passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55 years.

Barry is loving survived by his children: Jordan (Tasha) White, Jenna (Mike) Zarbo, Jayda White; grandchildren: Kiara, Kiandra, Kovi, Kylee, Kobe; mother of his children: Gloria White; adopted daughters: Skye Eaglefeather, Kayla (Luke) Horse, Destiny Faithful; siblings: Percy (Doreen) Moosepayo, Norman, Rema (Keith), Brian, Brenda (Joe), Simon, Doug (Crystal); adopted mother: Agnes Dion and family; aunts: Sylvia (Harvey) Carter, Madeline Quinney and family, Cecile Dion and family; uncles: Joe (Susan) Quinney, Francis (Brenda) Quinney; as well as numerous nieces, nephews; god sisters: Myrna Stanley, Donna Pahtayken, Sandie Dion, Freda Quinney.

Barry was predeceased by his daughter: Jamie Lee White; parents: Peter & Eva Horse (nee Quinney); adopted father: Gabe Dion; paternal grandparents: John & Marie Horse (nee Sandfly); maternal grandparents: John & Mary Louise Quinney (nee Desjarlais); siblings: Mary Rose White, Donald Horse & numerous infant ones; sister-in-law: Karen Horse; uncles: Alex & Lloyd Quinney, Fred Horse; aunts: Christina Quinney, Mary Louise Cross, Eliza Daniels as well as numerous other aunts, uncles & cousins; nephews: Gregg Horse, Bradley Stanley; niece: Anita Whitstone; best friends: Fabian & Kirby Stanley.

Quinney Careers Center, Frog Lake with father Thomas Dieu Nguyen officiating. Interment, Clear Water Lake Cemetery, Frog Lake.
