Obituary of Helen Slipchuk

With saddened hearts but many memories to treasure the family of Helen Slipchuk announces her passing on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 91 years.  

Helen will be forever remembered and loved by her children: Paul (Charlotte) Slipchuk, Evelyn (John) Carr, David Slipchuk, Marilyn (Gilles) Ouellet, Leonard (Debra) Slipchuk; son-in-law: James Van Horn (Heather); ten grandchildren: Allen (Stacy), Jennifer, Alexia (Doug), Geoffrey (Erin), Dennis (Lisa), Nathan, Jason (Tiffany), Martin (Sandra), Nadia (Alex), Kyle; eleven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Connie Kolody, Mary Kolody , Rose Slipchuk; as well as numerous other relatives.

Helen was predeceased by her husband: Alexander Slipchuk; children: Robert Slipchuk, Katherine Van Horn; parents: John & Pauline Kolody; siblings: Annie (Theodore) Slipchuk, William Kolody, John Kolody.

Visitation, Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta. Private family service will take place at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel with Father Andrij Nykyforuk. Final Resting Place, Scared Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, La Corey, Alberta.
