Obituary of Gerald Nest

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022 Gerald Nest of Cold Lake First Nations passed away in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 51 years.

Gerald is lovingly survived by his children: Amanda Jacknife, Nathanial Jacknife, Monica Jacknife, Ashley Jacknife, Talia Matchatis; numerous grandchildren; father: Jimmy Cardinal; sister: Marcella Nest; aunt: Beverley Nest; cousins: Leeanne Nest, Christieanne Nest, Norbert Jr. Francois, Sara Grandbois; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Gerald was predeceased by his mother: Valerie Berland; brother: Simon Nest; aunts: Marlene Francois, Evelyn Nest; uncles: Alvin Nest, Kevin Nest, Brian Nest; cousin: Christian Aquart.

Wake, Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the English Bay Community Centre, Funeral Service, Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the English Bay Community Centre with interment to follow at Cold Lake Frist Nations Community Cemetery.
