It is with profound sadness that the family of Erica Lynn Gadwa announces her unexpected passing on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the age of 47 years.

Erica is lovingly survived by her son: Johan DayChief; parents: Eric & Linda Gadwa; brother: Clayton Gadwa; maternal grandfather: Tousanne Collins; nieces & nephews: Grayson Quinney, Summer Gadwa, Sienna Gadwa, Silver Dion; grandson: Tobias Dion; God son: Dale Gadwa Jr.; special uncle: Louis Cardinal; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Erica was predeceased by her siblings: Sheryl & Clinton Gadwa; adopted brother: Jonathan Badger-Gadwa; maternal grandmother: Mary Collins; paternal grandparents: Gustave & Mary Gadwa; special friends: John DayChief (the father of her son), Harry Beaverbone; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Wake, Sunday & Monday, February 20 & 21, 2022, Kehewin Community Centre. Funeral Service, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., Kehewin Community Centre with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta.
