It is with profound sadness that the family of Raynie Melvin Waskahat of Frog Lake, Alberta announce his unexpected passing on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the age of 61 years.

Raynie is lovingly survived by his children: Ashley Waskahat, Brandon Waskahat (Cheyenne), Samantha Waskahat, Whitney Waskahat, Chevaz Waskahat; thirteen grandchildren; three siblings: Edgar Waskahat, Ricky Waskahat, Velma Waskahat.

Raynie was predeceased by his daughter: Maurissa Cardinal; grandson: Trayson Waskahat; parents: Theresa & Alex Waskahat; siblings: Alma, Ronald, Ivan, Gladys, Irene, Maryann.

Wake, Sunday, January 23, 2022, Norman C. Quinney Education and Careers Centre, Frog Lake. Traditional Funeral Service officiated by the Elders, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 p.m., Norman C. Quinney Education and Careers Centre with interment to follow at the Clear Water Cemetery, Frog Lake.
