On Friday, November 7, Tris Jaycee Skani “Sakawiht Kisikow Pisim Iskwew” of Edmonton passed away at 22 days old. She will be remembered by her parents; Carla Buckle and Jason Skani of Edmonton, sisters; Melanie May Matchatis and Naomi Amber Matchatis, nieces; Abigail and Emma Matchatis, maternal grandfather; Wayne Buckle, her aunts and uncles; Georgina, Geoffrey, Blanche, Harley and Marsha Buckle and Stephanie, Darlene, Robin and Joanne Skani. Tris was predeceased by her brother Carson Matchatis and her grandmothers; Georgina Norquay and Norma Skani. A wake was held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Parish, Cold Lake First Nations. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery
