On Wednesday, November 3, 2021 Gordon Harvey Dion of Frog Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 84 years. Gordon will be forever remembered and loved dearly by his children: Vernon (Lila) Dion, Bernice (Randy) Moyah, Clayton (Teena) Dion, Wayne (Priscilla) Dion, Lorne (Dina) Dion, Chris (MaryEllen) Dion, Elaine (Adam) Ross, Noel (Chantelle) Dion, Laurie (Frank Jr.) Cardinal, Craig (Raylene) Dion; special grandson & caregiver: Phoenix Dion; traditionally adopted children: Jurnee Crevier-Dion, Craig Jr. Dion, Creeann Dion; adopted children: Melvin (Barbara) Abraham, Ross (Jean) Quinney; 80 grandchildren; 101 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild, with another one on the way; godson: Lenny (Sheila) Quinney; sister: Delia Dion; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Gordon was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years: Dora Rita Dion (1941 ~ 2021); son: Homer Smith; grandchildren: Clinton Dion, Christian Dion, Tori Dion-Trottier, Summerlee Smith; parents: Toussaint & MaryLouise Dion; siblings: Delma, Alice, Helen, Willie James, Joe, Dewey, Bobby, Isabel, Alphonse, Rose & Gabriel.  

Wake, Sunday, November 7 & Monday, November 8, 2021, at the Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake, Alberta. Funeral Service, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by the Band Elders following with the interment at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake, Alberta.
