Obituary of John Benjamin Wipf

On Wednesday October 29, 2014 Mr. John Wipf of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away at the age of 38 years. John will be sadly missed by his soulmate Gabrielle Whiskey Jack; parents: Ben & Katie Wipf; siblings: Dave (Clara) Wipf, Jacob (Linda) Wipf, Ron (Sabina) Wipf, Christina (Tim) Teichroeb, Dorothy (Ted) Entz and Theresa Wipf; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins as well as all his family of Verdant Valley Colony. John was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Jake & Mary Wipf; maternal grandparents: Andrew & Elizabeth Wipf. A wake was held on Monday November 3, 2014 at Elizabeth Metis Settlement Community Hall, Elizabeth Metis Settlement, Alberta. A Funeral Service was held Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 2:00p.m at Elizabeth Metis Settlement Community Hall, Elizabeth Metis Settlement, Alberta with Pastor Phil Crump officiating. Interment followed in the Elizabeth Métis Settlement Cemetery, Elizabeth Metis Settlement, Alberta. Pallbearers were: Sam Wipf, Pete Wipf, Tyrone Barines, Corey Whiskey Jack, Lyle Desjarlais & Jake Read. Honorary Pallbearers: Darnell Read, Bowser Houle, Willy Wipf, Robert Gladstone, Michael Esmond, Andy Blackman & all EMS Construction Staff.
