It’s so very difficult to put thoughts into words but I feel it’s also very important to do so as I believe it’s part of the healing process for Darlene’s family. We were fortunate to meet and know Darlene through our local Special Olympics bowling program when our son joined the group and we became volunteers. She was such a positive, delightful and easy-going person but I especially enjoyed working with her when we would “ team up” to playfully tease some of the others - she would get a mischievous twinkle in her eyes that was beautiful! Darlene, thankyou for being the wonderful good influence that you were on all of us- we are all better people for having known you.
Our sympathy goes out to Darlene’s family, as well as our respect for creating the best life possible for her. Hope you are finding the caring and support you need to move forward.
