On Wednesday, October 8, 2014 Mr. Raymond Joseph Desjardin of English Bay, Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 63 years. Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his wife; Melanie Desjardin: his children; Rodney Desjardin, Laurie Desjardin (Vince) and Trina Desjardin: his grandchildren; Pierce, Drae, Jayden, Aaron, Nathan, Jarid, Amanda, Evan, Ashton, Donovan, Dallas and Denine: his two great grandchildren; Neeson “The Greatest” and Tyrell: his siblings; Michael, Darwin, Denise, Arlene, Fran, Irene and Karen. Raymond was predeceased by his parents: Martin and Doris Desjardin, siblings: Donald, Roy and Lucy, maternal grandparents: Sophie and Edward Minoose and paternal grandparents: Anastasia and Arsene Desjardin. A wake was held on Sunday and Monday, October 12 and 13, 2014 at the Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Parish with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as the celebrant.
