Obituary of Theoren Gregory Poitras

On Thursday, October 2, 2014 Theoren (Buster) Gregory Poitras of Edmonton suddenly passed away in Vancouver at the age of 24 years. Theoren will be remembered by his parents Heather Poitras and Peter John; his sisters; Anastasia and Tamara Poitras, his maternal grandmother; Elizabeth Poitras, his paternal grandparents; Elizabeth and Walter John as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relations. Theoren was predeceased by his siblings; Alexander and Baby Crystal, his paternal grandfather; Homer Poitras, capans, Lloyd and Mary Poitras, Albert and Jean Potskin, Jimmy and Mary Dumais and Frank and Mary John. A wake was held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Kehewin Community Centre. A funeral ceremony was held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kehewin Community Centre. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kehewin, Alberta. Honourary pallbearers were; Gordie John, Tracey Collins, Kingsley Poitras, Torian Poitras, Jonathon Potskin, Aaron Potskin, Albert LaFramboise and Brighton John. Active pallbearers were; Corbin Poitras, Bruce Poitras, Riche Fouillard, Corey John, Kim John, Kelly John, Ryan Loyer and Justin Bulldog.
